Multi-Activities Tour

Circuit 8 days

Discover Reunion Island intensely. The major sites are explored through the most characteristic sports supports: sea, mountains, deep valleys, circuses, volcanoes. Meeting the sky will no longer have secrets for you, the key is to have a good condition to be able to enjoy it fully.

Day 1:

St Gilles

Reception at the airport and transfer to St Gilles. Hotel with half board. Installation, lunch in the "local gargotes" and in the beginning of the afternoon small walk in open sea in kayak.

Day 2:

Piton Maïdo - Mafate Circus

Early in the morning direction Maïdo for "the" downhill mountain bike, the must of Reunion Island which allows you to cross all levels of vegetation from the top of the mountains (2000m) to the beating of the waves 0m with as starting point the fabulous belvedere of Mafate. Picnic lunch on the beach. In the early afternoon, transfer to the Rivière des Galets for the start of the hike on Aurère. 2h30 + 600m. Mafate is the paradise of hiking and just the paradise to find isolation in a good

comfort. Breathtaking trail carved by erosion. Overnight in a gîte with half board.

Day 3:

Cirque de Mafate - Cirque de Salazie

Depending on the form, several itineraries are proposed either by the most secret place in a deep isolated valley (3h30 + 800m; -100m), or by the most open and panoramic route. (5h +1000m ; -300m). The botanical diversity is there and the passage between the 2 circuses, Mafate and Salazie marks the brutal transition between two worlds. Short transfer to Hell Bourg. Overnight in a hotel or in guest rooms with half board. You'll find your things.

Day 4:

Tour of the island in guide and small walks on the south coast for a rest for the physical but not for the eyes: Reunion Island under construction. Agricultural heritage (palmists, vanilla, sugar cane)

to then join the site of the volcano at 2300m of altitude. Creole picnic lunch at the edge of the cliffs. Overnight in a gîte with half board.

Day 5: Volcano hike and transfer to Cilaos

6h + 700m ; -700m

Overnight in a small hotel or in a gîte with half board. Depending on the mood of the monster, several itineraries are at your disposal but they all have one thing in common: the very particular mineral world of recent volcanism where all the senses are awakened, even the 6th since falling asleep is only precarious! Long transfer on Cilaos but which deserves to gather what Reunion has best: the landscape diversities on a short distance.

Day 6: Canyon on Cilaos

Cilaos

Cilaos is to the canyon what Mafate is to hiking: Mecca! Erosion-cut mineral environment, long rappels, suspended basins. In the early afternoon return to the coast by the sea. Hotel with half board.

Day 7:

Free day to choose from for sports activities: diving, paragliding. Hotel with half board (travel by bus for those who want to go on these activities, maximum 30 min trip).

Day 8 :

The final touch: canyon of Ste Suzanne or water hike for decompression: half-day and afternoon adventure course and via ferrata for the more sporty at the edge of

water and airport transfer.
